Solicitors Help Consumers Fight The Recession In Probate And Estate Services
Posted by ABM Solicitors on 2nd December 2010 to Wills & Probate
A recent survey of 1514 consumers commissioned by Insurers, Sunlight Direct, found that there had been a significant switch away from the Banks in terms of dealing with Estate and Probate Services and a move towards Solicitors. In the recession the Banks appeared to have been adversely affected by their image and despite strong efforts on the part of the Banks to grow their Financial Services Institutions the consumers had shied away from that sector and moved back to instructing Solicitors.
Further, in a response to the recession Solicitors had been cutting their fees for the work. The average price of Estate Administration dropped to £2,199 despite a 7% rise in the house prices in the Estates that were being dealt with. The price rise had been expected to overall raise the cost of Administration but Solicitors had been working with consumers to provide a far more cost effective service. Consumers had also been looking to economise and had been going to the most competitive Solicitors in order to achieve a better deal.
ABM Solicitors consider themselves to be at the forefront of consumer support and consequently offer Estate Services at agreed fees and are very happy to negotiate costs with clients in order to ensure the best provision. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how we might be able to assist you and provide the best service and Probate and Estate Services and Will planning.
